Some people, i dont get.

While i was out cleaning the barn i got thinking, how can someone see, and know there is something wrong with an animal and do nothing about it? For example, in my lifetime i have seen many horrible things and cruelty, but im not specifically talking about that. I see peoples rabbits sneeze, and people shrug there shoulders. Ive seen people that have animals with infested ear mights and do nothing about it. Ive seen people that have animals in terrible conditions and dont take the time to clean out the cages. Ive seen so many things, and i dont get how they can shrug it off. When i have something wrong with an animal, as simple as they dont look "happy" i worry and worry and try to figure it out and make it better. Now, i get it that everyone in the animal industry is going to come across an illness, but when you do, you fix the problem and move on. On the other side, ive also seen lots of places that have extremely happy animals and nothing wrong with them, and a lot of my friends are the same way I am.

I just dont get how someone can do nothing about it, when an animal is obviously in pain. I just dont get it...

March Break

It was a very interesting and fun march break! Very long. The Sunday of march break, i met Jackie at the flying J and went to stay at her moms for the week. It was a lot of fun, we cleaned and groomed rabbits, searched for rabbits, humanly put down our first rabbit, and played on frozen ponds. We took her pig for walks, biked trails, just had a lot of fun. On the Friday, my mom drove me and Jackie to Crystal McIntosh's. We stayed there over night so we could go to the auction with her on the Saturday, which we did. We had a blast there. A lot of nice, and good breeders, and a good opportunity to get nice stock. I picked up three rabbits from Devon, a tort Jersey Wooly buck, a Black mini rex buck, and a Black Jersey Woolie doe. I am very happy with all of them. Here are some pictures:

I also got new pictures of my rabbits:

And here is a video of Jackie falling through the ice, a lot of fun! :)
